Arise and Awake

Let the mind move along ‘without any fear’
Let the heads of people with dedication
and utmost devotion towards lord are ‘held high’
Remember that We are just ‘Gardeners’ on this earth
without any management rights duly bestowed on us

‘Freedom ‘at our will and pleasure
entices us
‘Unending love’ prompts us so glance at
the heart of GOD, that reminds me of my role
It also advises me in loving terms
to 'show yourself my soul'

Let us get into the ‘Golden boat’
that surges ahead in racing swift
singing songs from the revered ‘Geetanjali’
and sail ourselves in safe and security
to the land of wisdom high above our souls and soil

Let us place our heads obediently
before the lotus feet of our GURDEV
and cordially invite him to the dinner of the day
that enchants our spell in modern
but ‘endless time’ of our literary quests
